8th Grade Projects - WWII Museum Project Started

Hello all!

Just wanted to do another update, sorry I missed last week.

So, we are continuing to work on WWII. This is our last week of "front loading" information. Last week students learned about the Jewish Holocaust and the Chinese Holocaust. This week we are focusing on the most pivotal battles of the war.

We want to give students as much time as possible to work on their museum exhibits, and with testing the schedule will be crazy, so we are having them start building next week. Last week students chose their groups and topics for their Museum Exhibits, and this week we have been allowing them about 50 minutes a day to work on their exhibits with their groups. They will probably need to bring in supplies to build their exhibits from home, so this week they will hopefully be figuring that out.

The Exhibits will be on display May 18th, and parents are encouraged to come! More details will follow regarding the specifics of that day, but please mark it on your calendar. Your students are working really hard on these, and they would love to share what they've learned and done with you!

Also, I updated grades, so they should be up to date with everything I have, and I will do my best to stay on top of them.

Thank you for raising amazing young people!
